COACH’S COMMENTS
“… Our team was very well represented on the All-District Team. When you are fortunate to have good years, others take notice. Our 2021 team was special. Each player that was selected was more than deserving.”
“… We are very proud of what we were able to accomplish this year, and look forward to the future.”
“…Having two kids recognized at a state wide level is a huge accomplishment for not only Dylan and Alex but also our entire team. The Courier Journal All -State Football team is selected by statewide coaches not the media.”
“… These honors don’t just happen by accident. The hard work these guys and their teammates put in this year was certainly noticed. When you have a great year people tend to take notice. These guys are team first guys and I couldn’t be more proud of them and their teammates.”
“… Dylan is our first, First-Team Courier Journal All-State member since Tyler Combs in 2011. Being selected to this team puts in the same company as guys like Gerad Parker, Dontae Wright, Tyler Combs, and Michael West. Very well deserved honor. We are excited to have him back next fall.”
“… Alex was named to the second team, which is also a great honor. In talking with Area coaches, they were all impressed with his game this fall. Alex currently has a PWO opportunity at Eastern Kentucky. I expect him to get more recruiting attention when we get back to school in January. We will sure miss him next season.”
