March 3, 1963 — April 5, 2026

Drema Porter, 63, of Fort Gay, WV went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 5, 2026 at her home. Drema was born March 3, 1963 in Huntington, WV to the late Dewey and Betty Jo (Watts) Davis.
Drema was a member of Community Chapel Church. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, collecting oil lamps, feeding humming birds and all types of flowers. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren. Drema loved and adored them dearly.
Surviving is her husband Brian Porter; children Chris Porter and Adrienne (Matthew) Massie; grandchildren Sadie Massie, Shane Massie, Savannah Massie, and Cash Porter; brother Daniel (Trelma) Davis; sisters Vivian Johnson and Kathy Newsome; nieces and nephews Douglas Adkins, Lacy Jordan, Deidre Frazier, Rhesa Artrip, and Caleb Ward; several great nieces and nephews; and too many special friends to name.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother in law Lonnie Johnson.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, April 10, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Community Chapel Church with Pastor Robbie Smith and Pastor Randy Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Workman Cemetery.
Friends may visit the family at Community Chapel Church beginning Thursday, April 9, 2026 at 5:00 PM until time of service on Friday.
Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mrs. Porter and her family.
