Dock Adkins Jr. 89 of Louisa, Kentucky went home on May 8, 2025.

Dock was born September 21, 1935 at Louisa, the son of the late Dock and Nolda Young Adkins. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two wives Donna Henson Adkins and Hazel Laney Adkins, a brother Clyde Adkins, and a sister Ethel Combs.

Dock proudly served in the United States Army for 20 years and after his retirement from the service he worked 23 years as a custodian for the Lawrence Board of Education.

He was member of the Louisa Freewill Baptist Church and loved to hunt and wo

rk in his shop at home.

Survivors include two nieces Jonie Griffith and Jennifer Stinebring and a step son Jr. Johnson.

Funeral services will be held on Monday May 12th at 1:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Cecil Ferguson officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow in the Dock Adkins Cemetery on Wolf Ridge Louisa, Kentucky.

Friends may visit on Monday May 12th from 11:00 am until time of services at the Wilson Funeral Home.

Care for Dock and his family has been entrusted to our family at Wilson Funeral Home.
