COACH’S COMMENTS
“… Certainly encouraging to start off the season 3-0. Road wins at Morgan Co. and Raceland along with a win over a very solid Bath County team at our place. We have had spurts where we look really good, and we’ve had times where we struggle to score. That’s expected at this point in the season. The most encouraging part, is no matter how we are playing offensively, we have been able to get stops defensively. That’s all you can ask for at this point. Our kids have bought into the defensive side of the ball. We are very capable of putting points on the board, when we put both ends together we feel like we have a chance to have a special team.”
“… Was great to go to Raceland and get our 3rd win of the season. Fortunately, we were able to make free throws in that one. Defensively, our guys did a really good job at taking care of assignments. Overall, we need to do a better job offensively but without a doubt, we were excited to leave there with a win on Saturday. Pike Co. Central at home on Tuesday come out and support these young men!”
“… I’m blessed to Coach these guys and looking forward to the road ahead!”
