COACH’S COMMENTS
“… Our game Saturday with Knox Central definitely wasn’t the outcome that we wanted. But I’m very proud of our kids for going and making it to the final four of the state tournament. When you play a team like Knox Central, you have to shoot and rebound well to give yourself a chance. Unfortunately, both areas we struggled with. Hats off to them, they are a really good team and very well coached. A lot can be learned from that game and we have no doubts it will make us better in the long run.”
“… Looking forward to a seeded district game with a really good Betsy Layne team at home. Our kids are excited for that game and the opportunity to bounce back from this weekend’s game. The game is scheduled for tomorrow (Wednesday night) with girls at 6 and boys at 7:30. Come pack the gym and support these boys and girls!”
