Lawrence Co. Head Coach Chandler Thompson
COACH’S COMMENTS
“… Beating Lewis Co. was a good win for our team. This has been a very tough tournament with some of the top teams in the state participating. It has also been tough from a team perspective with the amount of injuries that we have right now.
“…I’m very proud of the guys that stepped up and did what they had to do to make sure we got a win yesterday. One thing about this team is that they will fight and play hard no matter what and that means more than anything from a coach’s perspective.
“…Got a great opportunity to play a tradition rich Scott County team today. We are very excited about that! Then we will try to shift our focus on getting healthy next week before heading into the 2A at Belfry.”
