David Dwight Sester

1947 — 2017

David Dwight Sester, 70, of Louisa passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at his home following an extended illness.

David was born April 2, 1947 in Martin County Ky. He was the son of the late Granville and the late Opal (Fraley) Setser.

He was of the Baptist Faith, served in the Army and was a retired Coal Miner.

Dave leaves behind his loving wife Elizabeth Ann (Johnson) Sester; Three daughters: Dinah Waller and husband Jeff of Louisa, KY, Amy Boggs and fiancé Jeffery Brewer of Louisa, KY and Tori Boggs also of Louisa, KY. Dave was the Brother of three sisters: Bonnie Setser, Ruth Sunday and Irene Spence, and one brother: Blaine Setser; Dave was blessed with two grandsons; Thomas Stone and Wade Waller, a granddaughter Jordyn Brewer and one great-grandson Jagger Stone. Mr. Sester had one Step Son, Michael Spears of Virginia Beach, VA and three Step Grandchildren, Logan Davidson, Makayla Spears and Maddy Spears.

Dave was preceded in death by one brother William Setser and three sisters; Peggy Setser, Doris McKinney and Vista Burke.

The funeral will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at Wilson Funeral Home, with Rev. Bobby Workman officiating. Entombment will follow in the Riverview Memorial Gardens.

Calling hours will be Friday, December 22 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Wilson Funeral Home.
