Pippa Passes, Ky. — Former Lawrence Co. Bulldog and current Alice Lloyd Freshman Timmy Dalton was recently recognized for claiming a spot on the River States Conference Second team after his outstanding Rookie season.
Dalton averaged 18.7 points and 6 rebounds per contest and was the only freshman named to either first or second team in the Conference.
Dalton’s teammate Sophomore Blake Smith a standout at Clay Co. was also named Second team after averaging 17.3 points and 5 rebounds per contest.
The Eagles (16-13) season came to an end this past Saturday with a 107-98 road loss to Bluefield College ( VA ) in the Championship game of the NCCAA Mideast Regional tournament.
