April 16th, 1939 — December 10th, 2025

Christina Castle, beloved by many and queen of our hearts, was escorted to her eternal home on Wednesday, December 10, 2025.

Christina’s smiling eyes reeled us in, and her charming wit kept us devoted. She was truly special in every way. We shall miss her presence here but rejoice in the knowledge that she is now home. For many years Christina was a dental assistant for Drs. Joe Carter, Lee Arrington, and Jim Lester in Louisa, Ky. She was a social person and enjoyed the interaction with others.

Christina was the daughter of Henry Ratcliff and Jessie L. Ratcliff and was preceded in death by her parents; her devoted husband of 65 years, Howard Castle; their son Dana A. Castle and adored grandson Shannon Webb.

She is survived by daughter Sherri and son in law Billy Webb; the ‘smartest and sweetest’ granddaughter Russany Webb; cherished granddaughter Bo Webb; and beloved brother Mike Ratcliff. Christina also leaves behind treasured family and friends. Special recognition for Alexandra Collins who lovingly provided advice and care for which Christina was so grateful.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Huntington Cabell Wayne Animal Shelter 1901 James River Road Huntington, WV 25701.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, December 12, 2025 at 12:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Christian Cemetery.

Friends may visit the family on Friday, December 12, 2025 from 11:00 AM until time of service in the Young Funeral Home Chapel.

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mrs. Castle and her family.

Christina was always a beautiful lady. I have fond memories of her and her family at Tabors Creek Missionary Baptist Church. Prayers for you all.
