COACH’S COMMENTS
“… First half we struggled to get a hand up in the shooters face and they hit six three pointers. That hurt us a lot. They got to see the ball go in the basket and got their confidence flowing. In the second half we did a better job and kept them off the three point line but they hit some tough mid range jumpers.”
“… I bet we missed 15 eight feet and in shots and it’s hard to win like that. We played better defense and caused some turnovers but couldn’t convert on the other end to cut into their margin. We made one run at the end but it wasn’t enough.”
“… We had some good wins but wasn’t able to make it four in a row against Raceland. Our December schedule has been tough and our four losses have been to quality opponents. Can’t win District or Region in December so hopefully it prepares us for tourney time.”
