Kentucky Auditor Ball’s Office Offers Free Training for Local Elected Officials

FRANKFORT, Ky. (February 20, 2025) – Kentucky Auditor Allison Ball announced she is offering free training for local elected officials across the Commonwealth, focusing on the ten most common audit findings in local offices and practical strategies to avoid them.

“I am excited to offer this free training for Kentucky’s local elected officials,” Auditor Allison Ball. “Over the past year, I have heard consistent feedback from local officials about their desire for additional resources to ensure their audits are successful. My office is committed to supporting them with the tools and knowledge they need to manage taxpayer dollars efficiently and effectively.”

The online training, available to local county sheriffs, clerks, fiscal courts, attorneys, PVAs, and their employees, will take place on February 27, 2025, at 11:00 AM Eastern Time.
