Joe Young Insurance Agency of Louisa has recently taken on an apprentice from Lawrence County High School. The program is a nationally recognized apprenticeship program through the US Department of Labor. It would be amazing if your paper recognized both the agency and the apprentice for their effort to generate jobs in your community and youth for being proactive about their career in the future.

Kenzley Brooks is a senior at Lawrence County High School with a GPA of 3.8. She is a member of the Lawrence County Lady Bulldogs Volleyball Team and the Fall 2024 Football Homecoming Court. She was introduced to the apprenticeship opportunity through Mr. Sam Sparks, CAA, Career Support Specialist, at Lawrence County High School. She is “excited to start her lifelong learning in her new lifelong career”. Agency owner, Phillip Hunt, says he sees Kenzley as “a long term fit for the agency”.
