Louisa, Ky. — Former Lawrence County basketball player Gunnar Woods has signed to continue his academic and athletic career with Alice Lloyd College.

As a Junior at Lawrence County Woods helped the Bulldogs to an improbable run to the state tournament after falling in the first round of the 58th District tournament and then rattling off four straight wins to capture the 15th Region title.
Woods also played in the state tournament as a Senior at Boyd Co. and was on the state runner up team at George Rogers Clark in 2023.
