Louisa, Ky. — 8th grader Sophie Adkins hit six three pointers and Kensley Feltner had a triple double as Lawrence Co. ( 7-1 ) whipped Prestonsburg ( 4-6 ) 84-54 Friday night at the Dawg House in 58th District play.

Lawrence Co. fell behind 20-16 after one period but battled back to take a 35-30 into the halftime break.
In the third quarter the Lady Dawgs added to the lead with a 30 point outburst to lead 65-41 going into the final period and cruised to a 30 point District victory.
Feltner finished with her third triple double in four games with 27 points, 14 rebounds, 12 assists and had 6 steals as well, Adkins tallied a career high 21 points and also pulled down 6 rebounds, Ellie Webb hit three 3 pointers and finished with 13 points, Kyleah Ward had 8 points and 7 rebounds, Brooke Neal hit 2 three pointers for 6 points, Tyra Hammond chipped in with 5 points, Kaison Ward scored 4 points and pulled down 11 rebounds.
Lawrence Co. hit 12 three pointers and went 8 of 11 from the charity stripe.

Prestonsburg was led by Faith Lazer with 22 points and Aliva Slone with 9 points.
The Blackcats hit 4 three pointers went 14 of 25 from the foul line.
