Helen Faye Young, 88, of Webbville, Kentucky passed away Saturday, May 10, 2025. A life-long resident of Lawrence County, she was born in Webbville on April 26, 1937 to the late Charles and Zella Griffith.

Mrs. Young was a member of Maranatha Bible Church and a 50 plus year member of the Blaine Chapter # 202 Order of the Eastern Star. During her tenure with Eastern Star, she served nearly 40 years as secretary of the Order. Her richest achievements in life were loving God, tending her home, and working the land along side her husband of 60 years, the late Earl V. Young. She loved every part of homemaking and farming, except, of course, when the cows got out.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and daughter in law Debra A. Young.

Faye is survived by her two sons Donald Ray (Janet) Young and Mitchell Earl Young; daughter Debra Lynn (James) Hylton; seven grandchildren Melissa Edens, Kelly (Mike) Adkins, Michael Earl (Robyn) Young, Clinton (Kelly) Young, Jesse Lee (Amy) Hylton, Taylor Clay (Sarah) Hylton, and Katelin Faye (Chance) Westerfield; fifteen great grandchildren Liam, Kaolin, Harley, and Adler Edens, Ivy and Aiden Young, Mason and Parker Young, Grace, Anna, and Griffin Hylton, Kyra and Josiah Hylton, and Gwendolynn Faye and Ellory Westerfield; brother Earl Wayne Griffith; as well as many friends and extended family members all of whom will miss her dearly.

Graveside services will be conducted Thursday, May 15, 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Young Family Cemetery in Webbville with Brother Jesse Hylton officiating.

The family will receive guests from Noon until time of service at the graveside.

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mrs. Young and her family.
