Former Bulldog softball standout Dani Crum hits two homers in U-PIKE win over Kentucky Christian

Pikeville, Ky. — Lawrence Co. alum Dani Crum hit two home runs to help UPike to a 7-5 victory over Kentucky Christian in the second game of a doubleheader on Tuesday at Paul Butcher Field. 

Crum is having a great Freshman campaign for the Bears with a team leading batting average of .404 after a 3-3 performance in a win over the Knights. Crum has 46 hits in 36 games played including 31 starts, smacked five doubles, four triples, two home runs, scored 30 runs and has 19 runs batted in, she has also stolen 11 bases and only been caught four times. 

The Bears are 14-23 and 7-15 in the Appalachian Athletic Conference in 2025. 

UPike will travel to Tennessee this weekend to play doubleheaders against Tennessee Wesleyan on Friday afternoon and Bryan College on Saturday afternoon.
