Lawrence Co. Head Coach Alan Short

COACH’S COMMENTS

“… I think we have a willingness to learn everyday and they show up and get the work in. I see growth every time out on the field and that is exciting to see. Our coaches are doing a great job trying to insure what we are trying to do on a day to day basis. We are not in mid season form we they are working hard each day. I’m confident in saying that they are getting better.”

“… Very proud of how we competed in the scrimmage. I thought we were the most excited team out there and we should have been playing in our own stadium. I thought our energy, passion and joy was where it needed to be. I think we are starting to get better at each offensive and defensive scheme. This week will truly be a dress rehearsal against East Carter the coaches won’t be on the field with them to whisper certain things and we will watch film and then turn our focus toward Rowan Co.”

“… Without naming names we are very confident by being around these guys everyday what they are capable of. We had some guys standout and we had some with deficiencies and we have addressed that in practice this week. Last week is over and done with and we are very happy with the progress that each guy has made.”
