Congratulations to Mrs. Wrendi McDavid, who has been selected as the interim principal at Lawrence County High School.

Supt. Katie Webb said today that there was not enough candidates in the pool for the position and time was getting short so the committee and herself decided to hire an interim principal while they look into it further.

Mrs. McDavid has been an assistant principal at LCHS for two years and had prior experience teaching social studies at FES for 12 years.

“It is a great honor to serve as the interim principal of Lawrence County High School. We have an exceptional team of staff members and incredible students who inspire me every day,” Ms. McDavid said. “I look forward to collaborating with our community and postsecondary institutions to provide opportunities for our students. Together, we will continue to uphold our commitment to excellence in education and student development.”
