LC FISCAL COURT HAS SPECIAL MEETING AT 10:30AM…End of FY 2023-2024

The Lawrence County Fiscal Court had a Special Meeting on Wednesday June 26, 2024 at 10:30AM at the Lawrence County Court House, 122 S. Main Cross Street, Louisa, Kentucky, 41230. Judge Executive Phil Carter was in attendance along with LC Magistrates David Pinson, Rick Blackburn, Michael Mouse Holcomb and John Scaggs.
APPROVE INSURANCE FOR FY 2024-2025
Deputy Judge Vince Doty stated that Tori (no last name given) the Insurance Agent worked to wrangle just a 4% rate increase on Lawrence County Employee Health insurance. “The rate started at 10% so a great job by all involved,” Doty said. A Motion was made by Rick Blackburn 2nd by Michael Mouse Halcomb. The Motion was unanimously passed.
APPROVE TREASURERS REQUEST
The Treasurers Request was passed unanimously with a Motion by Michael Mouse Halcomb 2nd by John Scaggs. The request was so Treasurer Josh Puckett “could save a few line items for another special meeting Friday, the end of the year budget deadline, in case something comes up.”

None.
