For the 2016-2017 fiscal year, the District’s 5 cent equivalent rate is 5.1 cents, which when applied to the current rate brings the total real property rate to 54.3 cents for Real Estate and 57.1 cents for Personal Property. The District’s five cents ($.05) equivalent rate changes each fiscal year and may be higher or lower when applied to future tax bills.
