Maysville, Ky. — Lawrence County Junior Abby Runyon finished fourth in the 12th Region Golf Tournament Tuesday at Laurel Oaks Golf Course.

Runyon shot an 87 which was good enough to qualify her for the state tournament next week at Stonecrest Golf Course in Prestonsburg.
Sophomore Lauren Sammons fell just short of the cut line shooting a 107 and Sophomore Aubrey Brady stayed consistent shooting a 114.
Mason County won the tournament with Ashland finishing runner-up.
