Ellen Hughes Greer 79 of Ashland, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on September 21, 2026 following a long illness.
Ellen was born March 21, 1947 in Louisa, Kentucky the daughter of the late Monroe and Katherine Carter Hughes. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by two sisters Nell Bussey and Sue Sloas and three brothers David Wayne Hughes, Norman Hughes, and Tim Hughes.
She was a Medical Transcriptionist.
Survivors inclue her daughter Pamela Hutchinson and husband James; a son Keith Greer and wife Angela; four grandchildren Karah Greer, Christian McSorley, Shade Hutchinson, and Cade Hutchinson; two sisters Ann Salyer and Jane Mahurin; and a brother Clark Hughes.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date to be announced by the family.
Care for Ellen and her family has been entrusted to our family at Wilson Funeral Home.
