LAWRENCE COUNTY ADULT TEENAGE MAN ARRESTED  AFTER ATTEMPTED ASSAULT WITH A KNIFE ON A MINOR ALLEGATION

A Lawrence County adult teenager was arrested after an altercation during late Thursday night, September 17 led to him threatening a minor with a weapon.

Caden Thompson, 18, of Louisa, KY., is facing a felony charge after police reported that a juvenile alleged Thompson threatened him with a knife at a residence.

According to the arrest citation, the Louisa Police Department and the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office responded following a call regarding a man with a knife. Law enforcement stated that the juvenile and his father, Jeremy Thompson, reported that Caden Thompson approached the juvenile with the knife. No injuries were reported.

Caden Thompson was arrested by Louisa Police Department patrolman officer Chase Kirk, and he was charged with:

*WANTON ENDANGERMENT – 1ST DEGREE.
Caden Thompson was transported to the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville in Johnson County; where he has since bonded him out and released from the BSRDC jail.
