London, Ky. — With Lawrence County leading North Laurel 13-7 at halftime the game was postponed because of weather and will be resumed on Tuesday October 27th.

Kaden Johnson had an electrifying punt return touchdown against North Laurel.

After Lawrence County turned it over on their first two possessions of the game the Jaguars took advantage and opened up the scoring on a 7 yard touchdown pass from Jude McWroter to Cam Anderson and Anderson booted the point after for a 7-0 lead with 5:01 left in the first quarter.

On fourth and 15 the Bulldogs tied it up on a Kaden Johnson 35 yard touchdown run and Issac Febish booted the extra point with 1:42 left in the first quarter.

After forcing a punt Johnson fielded the ball on a hop and went 75 yards for a touchdown to put the Dawgs in front 13-7 with 9:50 left in the first half.

After several delays and another storm headed toward London the game was officially postponed around 11:00 pm.

As of right now the game will be resumed at the beginning of the third quarter at 6:00 on Tuesday October 27th.

The Bulldogs ( 2-1 ) will begin District play at home next Friday against Letcher County Central ( 3-2 ).

North Laurel ( 1-2 ) will play Whitley County ( 0-5 ) at home next Friday.

Bulldog Head Coach Alan Short

  COACH’S COMMENTS

“… It was certainly something that I’ve never been a part of yet. We will go back and make up the second half on October 27 at 6 PM.”
