Louisa, Ky. — 8th Grader Carson Evans scored three touchdowns including the game winner in Overtime as Louisa Middle defeated Johnson Central 28-22 Thursday at Luke Varney Jr. Memorial Stadium. 

#22 Carson Evans turns the corner and out runs the Golden Eagle defense. 

After the opening kickoff pinned the Dawgs deep in their own territory Carson Evans weaved his way for 91 touchdown scamper and then Evans connected with Keegan Muncy for the two point conversion for a 8-0 lead with 6:47 left in the first quarter. 

Johnson Central tied it up on a Ayden Osborne 23 yard touchdown and a Jace Dials two point conversion on the last play of the first quarter. 

Evans gave the Dawgs the lead right back with a nifty 69 yard TD and then connected with Jace Napier for the two point conversion and Lawrence Co. led 16-8 with 2:07 left before halftime. 

In the third quarter Jace Napier ripped off a 45 yard touchdown run after he broke several tackles to give the Dawgs a 22-8 lead. 

Johnson Central scored the next 14 points to send the game to overtime  22-22. 

#23 Keegan Muncy and #52 Wyatt Maynard swarm the Johnson Central QB. 

After stopping the Golden Eagles to open up OT. Evans raced in from 10 yards out for the game winning touchdown to give the Dawgs a 28-22 victory.
