PIKE COUNTY, KENTUCKY WOMAN CHARGED WITH SEXUAL EXTORTION FOR ATTEMTING TO HAVE SEX WITH 16 YEAR OLD BOY BY BUYING HIM ALCOHOL

ALCOHOL AND SING THE JAIL BAIT BLUES IS USUALLY ENDS BADLY: KRSITI LYNN COLEMAN, 38, OF PIKEVILLE, KENTUCKY.
A Pike County, Kentucky woman was arrested on Thursday, July 2, over allegations she bought alcohol for a minor and tried to have sex with him.
The Pikeville Police Department received a call from a woman who reported that she had found messages on her 16-year-old son’s phone from Kristi Lynn Coleman, 38, of Pikeville. The messages included statements that she wished he were 18 and offering to buy the teen alcohol if he would come stay with her.
Kristi Coleman was arrested and, when interviewed, reportedly admitted to offering him alcohol and buying him an alcoholic beverage at a gas station June 30. She also allegedly admitted that she was talking with him in an attempt to have sex with him, saying she knew he was underage, but that he didn’t “look or act like he was only 16.”
Kristi Coleman is now charged with sexual extortion, a felony punishable by up to five years in prison, as well as a misdemeanor count of:
* SEXUAL EXTORTION VIOLATING SECTION 2 PARAGRAPH (A); and
*UNLAWFUL TRANSACTION W/MINOR-3RD DEGREE.
Kristi Lynn Coleman is still being held in the Pike County Detention Center on a $2,000 full cash bond as of Thursday, July 9.
