BRIAN CHASE CANTRELL, 34, OF PAINTSVILLE, KENTUCKY; SENTENCED TO FIVE YEARS IN PRISON AFTER  GUILTY PLEAS IN TRIO OF FELONY CASES.
A Johnson County, Kentucky man has been sentenced to fifteen (15) years in prison following convictions for second-degree assault and receiving stolen property.
According to the Office of the Commonwealth’s Attorney for the 24th Judicial Circuit, Brian Chase Cantrell, 34, of Paintsville, KY., was sentenced on Friday, June 26. Prosecutors said the assault charges stemmed from a domestic violence incident in which a woman and a neighbor who came to her aid were both stabbed and injured.
Brian Cantrell also received a sentence for possessing a stolen Toyota Tacoma that had been taken from a local business and belonged to a Dwale, KY. resident.
Brian Cantrell was sentenced to 10 years on the assault convictions and an additional five years on the receiving stolen property charge, for a total sentence of 15 years.
