Prestonsburg, Ky The Lawrence County 8U All-Star team came up just short of a District 3 Championship against Pikeville 15-14 on Tuesday at Stonecrest Sports Park.

The LC All-Stars went 3-2 in the tournament with both losses coming to the All-Stars from Pikeville.
In the first game of the tournament on Saturday Pikeville defeated Lawrence County 14-11.
Later on Saturday the LC All-Stars bounced back with a 18-5 victory over Belfry.
On Sunday they eliminated Martin County 8-1 and Johnson County 13-0.
After a rain out on Monday the LC All-Stars fought hard but came up on run short in the championship game.

Case Fitzpatrick went 13-16 with 4 doubles and a home run.
Jase Rollins went 12-15 with 3 doubles and 5 triples.

Carson Newsome went 8-13 with 2 doubles.
Huxton Perry went 7-12 with 5 doubles.
