Cristie Lynn Thompson, 51, of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 15, 2026 at her home. Cristie was born October 17, 1974 in Huntington, WV to Thomas Stroud and Barbara Dingess Lycans.
Cristie loved to craft and spend time with her grandchildren. She was a loving wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, and sister.
Surviving are her husband David Thompson; mother and stepfather Barbara and Cabell Lycans; children Tiffany Lynn (D.J.) Copley and Jessica Nicole (Kameron) Holmes; grandchildren Hunter Blake Copley, Remington Nicole Copley, Maverick Cole Holmes, Levi Alexander Holmes, and Bentley Reese Holmes; siblings Terene Clay and Deda McSorley.
Cristie was preceded in death by her father Thomas Stroud and her brother Thomas Stroud.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at 1:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home. Friends may visit the family on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 from 11:00 AM until time of service in the Young Funeral Home.
Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mrs. Thompson and her family.
