 COACH’S COMMENTS

“… Really felt like our players were locked in all week for district play. Taylor was sharp in the circle and our bats were ready as well. Emalynn and Jada gave us really good power at bats and Addalyn Woods was great as a table setter and had power as well  Kitts and Woods both got their 100th hit during the district.”

“… Can’t say enough about defensive effort by Lexie Crum and Ella Smith.  Gillispie was solid at the plate and at first. Brinley Baisden had a fantastic tournament as well and Millie Sammons was super behind the plate. Gracie Woods was solid in the DP position as well.”

“… Our girls took care of business in the first round. Taylor did what she had to do in the circle and our hitters were locked in.”

“… Floyd Central is a very strong, well coached team that has won nearly 20 games. We will have to be very sharp in all areas to come out successful.”
