COACH’S COMMENTS
“…Special group of seniors without a doubt. Braxton and Boedy have logged a TON of innings for us on the mound since their freshman year with so many big Ws along the way and both eventually made their way into our everyday lineup and have just been great players for us.
“… Owen has solidified himself the last 2 years in the DH role and his numbers might not reflect but I feel like for the last month has been right at the top for us in quality at bats.”
“… All of that is baseball stuff and it’s important, but the main thing is what kind of human beings they are. I cannot express enough how appreciative I am for what they have brought to our program both on and off the field. Tremendous young men in the classroom and our community and I’m excited for their next chapters. Would like to thank their parents for trusting us to coach these young men.”
“… District tourney time! Now that regular season is over everyone in the state is 0-0. We’ve had ups and we’ve had downs during the year just like every other year in my career. We’ve been through so many battles I believe we are poised to make a run. Our goal is no different. Winning the 15th region and ending our year in Lexington.”
