LOUISA MIDDLE SOFTBALL HEADS INTO OVC TOURNAMENT WITH PERFECT RECORD

Louisa, Ky. — Louisa Middle School softball completed a perfect regular season with a 5-2 victory over Johnson Central on Thursday evening.

Bottom L to R Berkley Whitt, Kyla Bragg, Clara Wells, Anna Compton, Sophie Spillman, Kaylee Nolan, and Maddy Ash.

 

The Bulldogs improved to 20-0 with the victory behind a four RBI night from sixth grader Cheyann Evans that including a three run homer. Nara Compton was the winning pitcher in the circle for the Bulldogs. 

 

Louisa Middle will be the #1 seed in the OVC tournament and will play the winner of #8 Ashland and #9 Bath Co. at 3:30 on Saturday at Greenup Co. High School.
