Louisa, Ky. — Lawrence County Baseball wrapped up a perfect 58th District slate with a 10-0 victory over Floyd Central on Friday night.
Before the Friday game the Dawgs recognized some of the youth from the Lawrence Co. Babe Ruth League.

The Bulldogs finished 6-0 in District play and will be the #1 seed in the upcoming 58th District tournament.

Gray Derifield tossed five innings, gave up two hits, walked four and struck out five in the home victory. He also singled, drove in a run and scored once.
Brady Caudill had two hits including a double, scored two runs and had one RBI, Maddox Fletcher had one RBI and scored a run, Braxton Davis singled and scored a run, Grant Cochran singled, scored a run and had one run batted in, Boedy Maynard scored two runs and had one RBI, Max Murriell doubled.

Braxton Davis went seven innings to beat the Jaguars on the road. Davis allowed four hits, walked four and struck out seven. He also singled at the plate.
Max Murriell doubled twice and drove in one run, Maddox Fletcher had two hits including a double, two RBI’s and scored a run, Gray Derifield had two hits and scored a run, Owen Pack doubled, scored a run and drove in two runs, Boedy Maynard walked three times and scored a run, Grant Cochran singled and scored a run, Brady Caudill drove in a run.

Grant Cochran went the distance at home to beat the Raiders. Cochran only allowed four hits, struck out six and walked one in seven innings of work. He also doubled and drove in a run to help his own cause.
Gray Derifield had two hits, one RBI and scored two runs, Braxton Davis had two hits, one RBI and scored a run, Owen Pack doubled, drove in one and scored a run, Boedy Maynard singled and scored two runs, Brady Caudill and Eli Caudill had one RBI each, Max Murriell singled.
The Dawgs ( 14-10 ) will have a busy schedule this week beginning on Monday with a home game against Johnson Central, on the road at Martin Co. before hosting George Washington ( WV ) on Friday at 6:00 and Ashland on Saturday at Noon.
