February 22, 1937 — April 28, 2026

Linda Lou Pack, 89, of Louisa, Kentucky, went home to be with the Lord on April 28, 2026, following a long illness.

Linda was born on February 22, 1937, in Livermore, Kentucky, to the late Grover Lee and Cassie Bell Brown. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Carl Pack Jr.; her sons, Mark and Gregory Pack; her son-in-law, Lafe Hinkle; her sisters, Winnie Atherton and Nancy Leazency; and her sister-in-law, Greta Maynard.

Linda spent most of her life in Louisa, a place she dearly loved, where she was a devoted and faithful member of First Baptist Church. Her faith was not just something she believed—it was something she lived every day. Whether rocking babies in the nursery, lifting her voice in the choir, working in the kitchen, or simply showing up whenever the church doors were open, Linda served with a joyful and giving heart.

She worked at Carter’s Department Store, the Louisa Sewing Factory, and Wellman’s Hardware, and later co-owned the Brunswick Shoe Store with Ruth Peters. She was a member of the Eastern Star for over 50 years.  She was also recognized as a Kentucky Colonel. Through every season of life, she was known for her strong work ethic and her dedication to those around her.

More than anything, Linda will be remembered for the love she poured into her family. She had a way of bringing people together—often around a table filled with homemade meals that were as warm and full of flavor as the love she shared. Her strong spirit, heartfelt opinions, and unwavering devotion made her the cornerstone of her family. Time spent with her was never taken for granted, and her presence will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Hinkle; her granddaughter, Julia (Jason) Rollins; her grandson, Alex Gregory Pack and his mother, Tracy Pack; her cherished great-grandchildren, Jason “Jase” Rollins and Jackston Rollins; her brother, Jimmy Brown; and a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will carry her memory forward.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 5, at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church Louisa, with Rev. Chuck Price and Rev. Bobby Workman officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Louisa, Kentucky. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church.

Care for Linda and her family has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
