August 26, 1957 — April 15, 2026

Richard A. Fugitt, 68, of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 15, 2026.
He was born August 26, 1957 to the late Maxwell and Blanche (York) Fugitt.
Richard was a proud Veteran, having served his country in the Navy. He was a retired coal miner and truck driver.
In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his son Richard Allen Fugitt, II.
Survivors include his loving wife Evelyn Fugitt; children Tanner (Kayla), Aaron (Tiffany), and Micha Dawn (Kevin); sisters Brenda and Julie; and brothers Herman, Roy, and Tommy. Richard was beloved by many family and friends and will be deeply missed.
Graveside services with full military honors will be conducted Monday, April 20, 2026 at 11:00 AM in York Cemetery with Brother Greg Caudill officiating.
Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mr. Fugitt and his family.
