Paintsville improved to 15-14 and will play Pikeville on Thursday at 8:15 in the quarterfinals of the 15th Region tournament.

The Dawgs will end the season with a 18-12 record and miss the 15th Region quarterfinals for the first time since 2012-13 season.

Bulldog Head Coach Chandler Thompson

COACH’S COMMENTS

“… Certainly not the end that we had hoped for with this team. I couldn’t be more proud of them for all that they did this season. We didn’t play well in our final game, but that doesn’t take away from all of the wins, relationships, and memories that were created this season. This was one of the funnest groups that I have been blessed to coach and I am so thankful for each minute we got to spend together. Our only option now is to get back to work and begin preparing for the 26/27 season. Thanks to all those that supported this group throughout the season!”
