IN SEPARATE CASE; EX-PIKE COUNTY MAN ARRESTED IN MINGO COUNTY LAST WEEK ON FEDERAL CHILD PORN CASE IS NOW INDICTED IN CONNECTION TO THE PORN CASE

A Pike County, Ky man arrested last year for a pair of sexual assaults targeting female college students in the city parking garage was arrested again on Thursday, February 26, this time charged with possessing child porn.
Terry Weston Rogers, 29, of Pikeville, KY., was arrested just after 5 P.M., after an investigation by the Pikeville Police Department.
The arrest warrant accuses Terry Rogers of having more than 1-thousand photos depicting sexual performances by a minor on his phone.
Terry Rogers is currently being held on a $250,000 full cash only bond in the Pike County Detention Center in Pikeville.

Meanwhile in a separate case, a man who was originally from Pike County, KY. and was currently living in Mingo County, West Virginia and was arrested there last week on a federal child porn charge has now been indicted.
Tyler R. Castor, 22, of Williamson, W. VA., but is formerly of Belfry, KY. area, was formally charged on Thursday, February 26 with one count of attempting to produce child porn. The charge carries a potential prison sentence range of between fifteen (15) to thirty (30) years.
Tyler Castor came under investigation after a Pike County woman told Kentucky State Police that her 13-year old granddaughter had been receiving sexual messages from a man. The girl had screenshots of the conversation, during which the man, later identified as Tyler Castor, had allegedly sent pictures of his genitals and requested the same kind of pictures from the girl.
KSP troopers were also able to find similar messages to other underage girls over the Discord social media app.
Tyler Castor was arrested on Friday, February 20; and is currently being held in the Pike County Detention Center on no bond allowed.
