Freddie J. Ferguson, 79, of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 8, 2026.

Freddie was born March 1, 1946 in Blaine, KY to the late Fred and Eliza (Edwards) Ferguson. Fred was a veteran, having proudly served his country in Vietnam. Fred was a Christian and a loving husband and father.

 

Surviving are his wife Helen Ferguson; son and daughter in law Johnny and Chelsea Ferguson; grandchildren Tessa Louise Ferguson, Jeremiah Jackson Ferguson, and Eliza Grace Ferguson; siblings Edgar (Jacquie) Ferguson, John (Linda) Ferguson, Frances Mollette, Freda McDonie, Ruth McDonie, and Carl (Kerri) Ferguson; and brother in law Johnny (Rhonda) Moore.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers in law Robert McDonie, Bill McDonie, and Ronnie Mollette. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, February 12, 2026 at 1:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Roger Jordan officiating. Burial will follow in the family cemetery on Mattie.

Friends may visit the family on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home.

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mr. Ferguson and his family.
