Kentucky State Police Indicts Two Whitley County
Women for Murder

WILLIAMSBURG, KY – December 17, 2025 – On December 16, 2025, two Whitley County residents were charged with Murder and other drug-related offenses, following an investigation by the Kentucky State Police, London Post.
A Whitley County Grand Jury indicted Robin L. Siler, 57 years old of Williamsburg, KY, and Jasmine S. Siler, 22 years old of Williamsburg, KY, stemming from the death of a one year old child earlier this year. Both individuals are charged with Murder, Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Whitley County Commonwealth’s Attorney Ronnie Bowling confirmed that Jasmine Siler is the mother of the toddler who died, and Robin Siler is the grandmother. Bowling said he can’t discuss evidence right now because of pre-trial but told us the basic allegation is that the toddler was in custody of these two women when he was left alone and drowned while both women were under the influence of meth.
Robin Siler is being held in the Whitley County Detention Center. Jasmine has a warrant out for her arrest.
Kentucky State Police Conducts Death Investigation in Whitley County.
WILLIAMSBURG, KY – July 5, 2025 – On July 4th, 2025, at 7:18 p.m., Kentucky State Police Post 11 London was notified by Whitley County 911 of a 1 year old child drowning victim at Baptist Health in Corbin, KY.
Preliminary investigation determined that the juvenile was found in a swimming pool at his residence. The child was transported by Whitley County EMS to Baptist Health in Corbin, KY, where he was later pronounced deceased by the Whitley County Coroner’s Office. Detective
Logan Gay is continuing the ongoing investigation. He was assisted by KSP Post 11 Personnel, Whitley County Coroner’s Office, Whitley County EMS, Corbin Police Department, and Williamsburg Police Department.
