Lawrence County Attorney’s Office secured a referral to the Lawrence Co. Grand Jury for Kevin M. Stiltner

On October 1, 2025, the Lawrence County Attorney’s Office secured a referral to the Lawrence County Grand Jury for Mr. Kevin M. Stiltner of Fort Gay, West Virginia.

Following a traffic stop and investigation by Trooper Zach Wright of the Kentucky State Police and a search incident to a valid arrest, which ultimately led to the discovery and seizure of fentanyl, Mr. Stiltner was charged with the following:

1. RECKLESS DRIVING – 189.290;
2. OPER MV U/INFL CONT SUB (189A.010(1D) – 1ST – 189A.010(5A);
3. POSS CONT SUB 1ST DEGREE FENTANYL – 218A.1415;
4. POSS OF MARIJUANA – 218A.1422;
5. CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE PRESCRIPTION NOT IN ORIG CONTAINER 1ST – 218A.210;
6. POSS CONT SUB, 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE – DRUG UNSPECIFIED – 218A.1415;
7. FAILURE TO WEAR SEAT BELTS – 189.125(6);
8. DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS – 218A.500(2); and
9. DRIVING MOTOR VEHICLE USING HAND-HELD MOBILE TELEPHONE – 281.600.
