May 23, 1970 — June 10, 2025

Jackie Fitzpatrick, 55, of Fort Gay, WV went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 10, 2025 at his home.

Jackie was born May 23, 1970 in Louisa, KY to James and Alta (Gartin) Fitzpatrick. Jackie loved to fish, camp and be outdoors. He liked to play his guitars and he wrote songs and poetry. Jackie was a wonderful husband, father, son, and friend. He was loved deeply by his family.

Jackie was preceded in death by his mother Alta Fitzpatrick and his son James Fitzpatrick.

Survivors include his wife Christina Fitzpatrick; father James Fitzpatrick; children Shirley Vincell, Jacqueline Emory, Jessica Hackney, Shawn Fitzpatrick, Brandon Fitzpatrick, Amber Thompson, Angel Jordan, and Michael Jordan; many grandchildren; a great grandchild on the way; and siblings Billy Jo Fitzpatrick and Sarah Jane Maynard.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, July 18, 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Marcum Cemetery on Lost Creek.

Friends may visit the family on Friday, July 18, 2025 from 12:00 PM until time of service at the Young Funeral Home Chapel.

The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to help offset funeral expenses.

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mr. Fitzpatrick and his family.
