FROM 12:00 A.M., JUNE 23, 2025, THRU TO 11:59 P.M., JUNE 30, 2024, (8 DAYS); AT LEAST 57 PEOPLE WERE ARRESTED FROM JOHNSON, LAWRENCE, MAGOFFIN, AND MARTIN COUNTIES, AND OTHER COUNTiES COMBINED, AND WERE BOOKED AT THE BIG SANDY REGIONAL DETENTION CENTER IN PAINTSVILLE, KY., IN JOHNSON COUNTY.

OUT OF THOSE 57 ARRESTS, 17 ARRESTS WERE FROM LAWRENCE COUNTY. TWO (2) LAWRENCE COUNTY RESIDENTS WERE ARRESTED IN A NEIGHBORING COUNTY; ONE IN JOHNSON COUNTY AND ONE PIKE COUNTY. IN ADDITION,  A FORT GAY, WEST VIRGINIA RESIDENT WAS ALSO ARRESTED IN JOHNSON COUNTY

HERE ARE THE NAMES OF THOSE 17 LAWRENCE COUNTY, KY. ARRESTS FROM JUNE 23-30, 2025; ARE AS THE FOLLOWING:

James McIntyre, 66, of Ashland, Kentucky; was arrested on June 24, 2025, at 1:19 A.M., by deputy Travis Music of the Lawrence County Sheriff Office, and was charged with: • ASSAULT, 4TH DEGREE (NO VISIBLE INJURY), • POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA, • ALCOHOL INTOXICATION IN A PUBLIC PLACE (1ST & 2ND OFFENSE).
 

John Noah Sword, 49, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on June 24, 2025, at 2:14 A.M., by patrolwoman officer Shelby Taylor of the Louisa Police Department,  and was charged with: • ALL TERRAIN VEHICLES VIOLATIONS, • NO TAIL LAMPS,  • NO OPERATORS-MOPED LICENSE, • LICENSE TO BE IN POSSESSION,  • OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL .08 (189A.010(1A) – 2ND OFFENSE.
 

Timothy Ray Ross, 33, of Ironton, Ohio; was arrested on June 24, 2025, at 2:14 A.M., by deputy Tyler Laney of the Lawrence County Sheriff Office, and was charged with: • FLEEING OR EVADING POLICE, 2ND DEGREE (ON FOOT).

Danuell Marcum, 51, of Fort Gay, West Virginia; was arrested in Johnson County KY., on June 24, 2025, at 1:44 P.M., by deputy Nathan Collins of the Johnson County Sheriff Office, and was charged with: • PROMOTING CONTRABAND – 1ST DEGREE, • CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER.

Jeannie Marie Hicks, 46, of Louisa, Kentucky; was taken into custody on June 24, 2025, at 4:19 P.M.,by the Lawrence County Sheriff Office, to serve a guilty plea jail sentence “weekender”: • CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER.

Jason D. Meadows, 41, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on June 24, 2025, at 8:19 P.M., by deputy Tyler Laney of the Lawrence County Sheriff Office, and was charged with: • TRAFFIC IN CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE – ( < 2 GRAMS METHAMPHETAMINE).

Christopher W. Ratliff, 45, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested in Pike County KY., on June 24, 2025, at 2:04 P.M., by deputy Bryan Adkins of the Pike County Sheriff Office, and was charged with: • FAILURE TO APPEAR.

Sandra L. Perry, 46, of Fort Gay, West Virginia; was arrested on June 26, 2025, at 3:49 P.M., by a deputy of the Lawrence County Sheriff Office, and was charged  with: • BAIL JUMPING 1ST DEGREE.

James R. Bentley, 58, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on June 26, 2025, at 4:38 P.M.,by sergeant detective Hunter James of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with: • OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL .08 (189A.010(1A) – 1ST OFFENSE.

Tabaitha Marie Jude, 54, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on June 26, 2025, at 11:32 P.M., by trooper McGraw of the Kentucky State Police, and was charged with: • POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE).

Makala Kage, 21, of Ashland, Kentucky; was arrested on June 27, 2025, at 1:36 A.M.,by a trooper of the Kentucky State Police, & was charged with: • OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE SUBSTANCE (189A.010(1C) – 1ST OFFENSE, • FAILURE TO PRODUCE INSURANCE CARD, • RECKLESS DRIVING.

Jonathan Nathaniel Young, 36, of Webbville, Kentucky; was arrested on June 28, 2025, at 7:55 P.M.,by trooper John Holbrook of the Kentucky State Police, & was charged with: • OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE SUBSTANCE (189A.010(1C) – 2ND OFFENSE, • OPERATING ON SUSPENDED OR REVOKED OPERATORS LICENSE INADEQUATE SILENCER (MUFFLER), OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/ INFLUENCE ALCOHOL .08 (189A.010(1A) – 2ND OFFENSE,  • POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE), • FAILURE TO APPEAR (3 SEPARATE CHARGES COUNTS).

Christopher A. Skaggs, 47, of Lowmansville, Kentucky; was arrested in Johnson County KY., on June 28, 2025, at 11:57 P.M., by deputy David Adams of the Johnson County Sheriff Office, & was charged with: • CRIMINAL TRESPASSING-2ND DEGREE, • ALCOHOL INTOXICATION IN A PUBLIC PLACE (1ST & 2ND OFFENSE).

Drema M. Kazee, 36, of South Point, Ohio; was arrested on June 29, 2025, at 8:39 P.M., by trooper Chase Coverdale of the Kentucky State Police, and was charged with: • POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE 1ST OFFENSE (HEROIN).

Steven Logan Stambaugh, 23, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on June 29, 2025, at 11:07 P.M., by a deputy of the Lawrence County Sheriff Office, and was charged  with: • ALCOHOL INTOXICATION IN A PUBLIC PLACE (1ST & 2ND OFFENSE).
 

Clinton Wayne Justice, 48, of Louisville,Kentucky; was arrested on June 30, 2025, at 1:10 A.M., by patrolman officer Michael Housinger of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with: • ASSAULT, 4TH DEGREE (DOMESTIC VIOLENCE) NO VISIBLE INJURY.

Danny T. Workman, 63, of Prichard,West Virginia; was arrested on June 30, 2025, at 11:31 P.M., by patrolman officer Michael Housinger of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with: • ALCOHOL INTOXICATION IN A PUBLIC PLACE (1ST & 2ND OFFENSE).
