Knoxville, Tn. — Two Crum, W.Va. fourth graders are World Champions after helping the West Virginia Thunder to an AAU World Basketball title last week.

The tournament had 19 4th grade teams from Alabama, Arkansas, California, Georgia, Kentucky, Missouri, West Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Ohio 

WV Thunder 50 Southern Starz 20 

In the first game on Thursday the Thunder took care of a team from Alabama pretty easily. 

WV Thunder 57 Mavericks 43 

In the second game on Thursday the Thunder beat a team from Arkansas. 

WV Thunder 37 Lady Aces 12 

In the first game on Friday the Thunder dismantled another team from Alabama. 

WV Thunder 44 Wood Elite 20

On Friday afternoon the Thunder finished out Pool play 4-0 with a very impressive victory against a team out of Georgia. 

WV Thunder 37 Lady Aces 18 

In the quarterfinals on Saturday the Thunder beat the Lady Aces for the second time in two days. 

WV Thunder 58 Team 94 42 

In the semifinals on Sunday morning the Thunder took care of a team from California. 

WV Thunder 44 Mavericks 36 

In the World Championship game the Thunder beat the team from Arkansas. 

This team has won 37 straight games to start the summer. Captured three 5th grade championships and two 4th grade championships with one tournament left in August in Oklahoma.
