Fort Gay, W.Va. — It was a long hot day at Tolsia high school as 2Rays beat the Bombers 21-20 in the Championship game Saturday night in the 7th Annual Father’s Day Classic softball tournament.
In the championship game the Bombers were down 19-13 going to the top of the seventh before scoring seven runs to take a 20-19 lead but the lead wasn’t enough as 2Rays won their third Father’s Day Classic championship.
The Bombers had one the last four tournaments after 2Rays won the first two titles including a 46-42 championship game the first year in 2016.
