YOUR SUPPORT FOR GOD’S FOOD PANTRY PAYS FOR HAMS FOR EVERYONE WHO NEEDS THEM
Louisa, KY, Dec. 16, 2024 — This year, God’s Food Pantry invited churches, individuals, and businesses to help make it possible to give families hams as part of their December food box. So far, we’ve given more than 265 families a ham. This Thursday will be our final distribution for the year.
We have many hams on hand, but may need to purchase more on Thursday. So if you would like to help, there is still time!
Susan Little joined us for a while on the first Thursday, helping give the hams to families. Joe let us take his photo, receiving a ham you provided. [See photo]
One man shared with a tear, he makes too much for food stamps, but not enough to buy all they need. You are filling the gap for many when you help your local food pantry. And hams provide more than a meal, but several meals, while offering encouragement that people do care.
“We are letting as many of the families as possible know that it is their community providing these hams,” said a pantry volunteer. “They are so grateful and are sending their thanks your way.”
This Thursday is the last day we will distribute in December. If you would like to give, you can give online through a local church partner at:

If we receive more money than hams needed, the money will help us continue to provided food families in the coming month(s). Thank you for making a difference in our community!
God’s Food Pantry will be closed Thursday, Dec. 26.
Merry Christmas from your local food pantry!
