Mac Lee Jones, 82, of Fort Gay, WV passed away on Monday, May 20, 2024. Mac was born February 12, 1942 in Kentucky to the late Roy and Bonnie (Marshall) Jones.

Mac was a Veteran of the US Navy, proudly serving his country over 20 years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Jones; sister Rita Faye Reagan; and brother in law Gerald “Chuck” Smiley.

Survivors include his children Johnny Mac (Patty) Jones, Jeannie Lynn (David) Anderson, and Roy (Mindy) Jones; grandchildren Johnny, Matthew, Matthew (Bobbi), Dustin, Tyler, Christopher (Sherri), Justin, Rebecca, Levi, Lauren (Carlos),and Libby(Michael); 14 great grandchildren; sisters Jeanette Smiley and Tracy Whirls (Kenneth) Sisk; brother in law Harry Reagan; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Military Honors will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Northeast.

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mr. Jones and his family.
