Some Fun in the sun shopping at Flea Markets in Louisa & Ft. Gay on a ‘Top 10’ day
(June 14, 2019) The weather was beautiful today and people were taking advantage of the good weather for weekend.
The first flea market we went to in Louisa is located and run by the OutPost, near Food City Plaza. There is a $5.00 fee for setting up and most sellers are there from 8am – 5pm.
Mrs. Edna Wilson told us, “Saturday is the big day for the flea market and customers come from all over.” Many of the sellers say they will be back tomorrow along with the regular Saturday sellers.
There were several tables and tents set up with all kinds of various items from clothing to handmade decorations.
Next was Spradlin Liquidation they are located across from the old dollar store downtown and they were setup to sell with tables out and items in store marked down to sell.
In Fort Gay there were several yard sales all in one place at the corner of US 52 & Court Street (at the old 37 next to the lights).
There they had all sorts of things from pictures, handmade items, clothing and original cabbage patch dolls from 1980.
Get out while it’s beautiful and hit the town check out the local flea markets and find get deals on hidden treasures.
