May 2, 2025
With hearts full of love and sorrow, we honor the life of our courageous son, Xzavier Chase Bowen. Xzavier went to be with the lord May 2, 2025 after a brave battle with bone cancer.
To know Xzavier, was to love him. From his spunky one of a kind personality, to his fearless spirit, to his open minded old soul little self, he was the true definition of not only perfection but a real superhero. He was not afraid to stand toe-to-toe with anyone, always speaking his mind and throwing a punch, if he it was necessary.
Despite a 2 year battle with Ewings sarcoma, he never lost his big personality or beautiful smile. He always talked about becoming an NFL player & professional YouTuber. Food, Video games, traveling, the beach & sea turtles were his absolute favorite things.
Xzavier was so very loved. He touched the lives of so many in his short time here with us. He was notorious for being his little prankster, yet very smart & loving self.
Always smiling, Xzavier was up for all the midnight trips & slushie combinations he could ever make up from Speedway. He also loved thrift shopping with mom & iced coffee runs.
Xzavier without a doubt was the true definition of strength.
The family would like to thank all of the nurses & doctors who have taken such great care of him. His oncology nurses & Cabell’s pediatric nurses- all became family from day 1. They would also like to thank Dr. Paul Finch & Josh Hess, for always taking the best care of him. Xzavier trusted them with everything in him & had no problem telling any other doctors he wanted Dr. Finch- no one else.
A childs laughter, now silent in the air.
A love so pure, beyond compare.
Cancers grip, a cruel and chilling hand.
Stole a precious life from this land.
But though they’re gone, their memory remains.
A shining light, through griefs dark rains.
Matthew 19:14 “But Jesus said, ‘Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.'”
