WAYNE SHERIFF’S MEN ARREST MAN WHO WAS ‘TERRORIZING NEIGHBORHOOD’

Sheriff Rick Thompson stated that two people were arrested in the Genoa area after an investigation.

Angela Sartin

Sheriff Thompson stated that the Sheriff’s Department Road Patrol, Wayne County Sheriff Drug Enforcement Unit, and WV State Police responded to a residence in the Hickory Gap area and arrested Charles ‘Chuck’ Marcum and Angela Sartin.

Angela is currently on probation for a felony drug conviction. Probation Officer’s responded to the residence as well. A handgun was seized from the residence.

There were multiple complaints of Marcum terrorizing the neighborhood. Marcum is a convicted felon as a result of a drug investigation by the Wayne County Sheriff Drug Enforcement Unit. Marcum is prohibited from possessing a firearm.

Sartin was arrested for a probation violation and Marcum is charged with being Prohibited from possessing a firearm.
