WAYNE COUNTY WOMAN ARRESTED TWO DAYS IN A ROW OVER ‘AGGRESSIVE’ ACTIONS… SOUTHERN LAWRENCE COUNTY COUPLE WHO WERE ARRESTED TOGETHER TWICE IN 5 HOURS IN MARTIN AND JOHNSON COUNTIES IN JANUARY, AND ARRESTED TOGETHER AGAIN EXACTLY ONE LATER BY LAWRENCE DEPUTIES… BUSTED AGAIN ON “CAR LOAD” OF 17 CHARGES TOTAL.. LOUISA MAN ARRESTED FOR METH IN MARCH CAUGHT WITH METH AGAIN AFTER ARREST FOR ALTERCATION…
OUT OF THE 75 INMATES BOOKED AT THE BIG SANDY REGIONAL DETENTION CENTER IN PAINTSVILLE FROM 12:01 A.M. MAY 1 THRU 11:59 P.M. MAY 7, 8 OF THEM WERE FROM LAWRENCE COUNTY, FOR A TOTAL OF NINE ARRESTS.
AND THERE WAS ALSO MAJOR SPIKES BOTH UP AND DOWN, MORE THAN ONCE, IN THE NUMBER OF INMATES BOOKED AT THE BIG SANDY REGIONAL DETENTION CENTER IN PAINTSVILLE IN THE LAST SEVERAL DAYS.
AT THE END OF THE LAST WEEK THE NUMBER OF INMATES WENT TO 242, DOWN FROM 282 THE PREVIOUS WEEKEND, HOWEVER, ON SATURDAY AFTERNOON MAY 6, THE NUMBER WENT BACK UP TO JUST UNDER 270 INMATES BEING HOUSED AT THE BSRDC, A FACILITY DESIGNED TO HOLD A MAXIMUM CAPACITY OF 225 INMATES. THE NUMBER SHOT UP BECAUSE OF A LARGE NUMBER OF PEOPLE BEING TURNED IN ON FRIDAY TO SERVE GUILTY PLEA JAIL SENTENCES.
THRU THE REST OF THE WEEKEND THE NUMBERS STARTED GOING DOWN AND BY LATE MONDAY MAY 7, THAT NUMBER WAS BACK DOWN TO 249 INMATES. BY 12:01 P.M. TUESDAY MAY 8, THE NUMBER WAS BACK UP AGAIN AND STOOD AT 260 INMATES. BUT THERE WERE ONLY 2 ARRESTS ON SUNDAY AND ONLY A HANDFUL YESTERDAY MONDAY.

Marissa D. Ross, 25, of Prichard, West Virginia; was arrested on May 1, 2017, at 10:09 P.M., by patrolman officer Julius Musick of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with: • MENACING.
